Colored Concrete
Our clients, home owners, landscape designers, and landscape architects are always looking for methods to improve the appearance of their landscape projects at a reasonable cost. Colored concrete is one of these construction methods. Or stained concrete is another known name in the industry.
When completing our colored concrete jobs we prefer a ready-to-use, penetrating, reactive stain that chemically combines with cured concrete or cement toppings to produce permanent color effects.
Concrete stain creates uneven, variegated or translucent color effects much like the shadings of natural stone or the aged appearance of a timeworn patina. Distinctive and lasting, the look of colored concrete is ideal for exterior hardscapes, interior floors, walls, and artificial rock and landscape water features.

Colored concrete can be used in combination, abutting each other, or stamped with a variety of textures to simulate brick, flagstone, pavers, or tile. The same colored concrete can be made to look different by employing different finishing techniques: A broom finish creates one look. Brushing the concrete in opposite directions creates shadow effects. Brick patterns create a different type of look.
Many of the above listed techniques can be used in combination. Colored concrete and stamped concrete are considered one of the most effective ways to improve the appearance of a project.
